Kuwait to Hosts Int’l Quran Teaching Conference

The third edition of the International Conference on Quran Teaching will be held in Kuwait.

It will be organized with the aim of promoting Quranic sciences in the world and supporting memorization of the Holy Quran, al-Aan daily reported.
A number of Quranic elites, scholars, reciters, and experts in Quranic fields from various countries are expected to partake in the international event.
The first edition of the conference was hosted by Saudi Arabia and the second was held in Bahrain with the motto of “Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Method of Quran Teaching”.
While the exact date of the third edition has not been determined yet, Abdullah Ali Busfur, secretary general of the World Association of Quran Memorization, and Abdullah Mahdi, Kuwait’s deputy minister for Quranic and Islamic studies affairs, have met to discuss organizing the event.
