Russian Translation of Imam Khomeini’s Quran Interpretation Awarded

A Russian translation of Imam Khomeini’s Exegesis of Surah al-Fatiha published by Iran’s Cultural Center in Russia last year, was selected as a winner of the 20th Book of the Year Award of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, Kabil Shah Idrisev translated the exegesis into the Russian language and the Scientific Publication Institute of Russia published the translation in 2000 copies.
The late founder of Islamic Republic of Iran has created a beautiful work full of pure mystical teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) which is one of the most everlasting exegeses in the world of Islam.
There are some other works published by the Iranian representative center in Russia which were also awarded in the previous editions of the Book of the Year Award.
The closing ceremony of the 20th edition of the award was held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Tehran in the presence of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian President, and Mohammad Husseini, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
