Head of Iraq’s Supreme Islamic Council Hojat-ol-Islam Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim criticized international organizations’ double-standard policies vis-à-vis Middle East issues.
Head of Iraq’s Supreme Islamic Council said international bodies failed to condemn the Zionist regime’s air raid on Syria and remained silent over the Zionist aggression, Al-Furat news network reported.
He said the silence was an indication of the international organizations’ dual policies on the Middle East issues.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Al-Hakim pointed to the situation in Iraq and called on all Iraqi political groups to work for sincere and constructive dialogue to resolve the issues.
He also underlined that suggestion about splitting Iraq, which is mentioned by some political groups, should be vehemently opposed.
