UN, UNSC Manipulated by World Arrogance
Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi slammed the performance of international bodies and their inability to prevent bloodshed and killings in the world.
Speaking in his Kharej-e Fiqh lesson at Qom’s A’azam Mosque, the grand source of emulation added that the United Nations and its Security Council must not be manipulated by the world arrogance.
“Unfortunately, the bullying and arrogant powers threaten every government and nation they please and, there is no objection heard from these international organizations.”
He also regarded the veto power in the Security Council as an obvious sign of injustice in the world’s decision-making bodies.
The grand Ayatollah pointed to the threats made by the hegemonic powers against the Islamic Republic of Iran , stressing that all of these threats are useless and in vain.
