Qadir Poetry Festival in Lebanon

A poetry festival featuring the event of Qadir will be held on Friday in Lebanon.
The city of Tyre will host the cultural event on October 25, Al-Manar TV network reported.
It will be organized by the Ibda’a Society in cooperation with the city’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Cultural Center.
A number of prominent Lebanese poets will recite poems at the festival including Amal Tanana, Ahmed Sa’ab, Seyyed Mussa Fadlallah, Osama Ali Heydar, Hassan Hijazi and Muhammad Baqir Jabir.
Head of the Ibsa’a Society Ali Abbas will deliver a speech at the cultural event and Mahmoud Darwish will be the master of ceremony.
The Qadir poetry festival is slated to start at 6:30 P.M. today at the Imam Khomeini Cultural Center of Tyre.
Muslims on Thursday celebrated the Eid Al-Qadir, marking the event of Qadir on which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) announced Imam Ali (AS) as his successor.
