Nat’l Quran Competition Planned in Bahrain
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 16th edition of “Al-Furqan” national Quran competition in Bahrain will be organized by the country’s Iqra’ Shia Association of Quranic Sciences.
According to Qaaf news agency, the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Association of Kuwait will cooperate in organizing the competition, which is scheduled to begin on July 1.
There will be two categories for men and women, each competing in two age groups.
Youths aged 15 and more will compete on the memorization and interpretation of Surah Al-Mursalat and teenagers under 15 should memorize and learn the interpretation of Surah Al-Naml.
According to the Iqra’ Shia Association, the 10th of June is the deadline to sign up for the competition.
