Int’l Conference on Holy Prophet (PBUH) Seerah Concludes in Morocco
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The city of Fez in Morocco hosted an international conference on the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Titled "Prospects of Serving the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)”, it began on Thursday and concluded on Saturday.
Morocco’s Scientific Research Institute organized the event in cooperation with the North African country’s Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ministry.
A number of university scholars, religious figures and officials from different Islamic countries attended the conference.
One of the speakers was Muhammad al-Rouki, the chancellor of Morocco’s University of Al Quaraouiyine, who stressed the need for the Muslim Ummah to learn lessons from the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
He added that to this aim, Muslim scholars ought to do comprehensive research on the Prophet’s (PBUH) Seerah and life.
