Winners of Nationwide Quran Contest Announced
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Winners of the 12th nationwide Quran competition organized by Iran’s Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center were announced.
The final round of the contest was held in the holy city of Qom from Monday, February 4 to Saturday, February 9.
The participants competed in five categories of recitation and memorization of the Quran, in two age groups of below 16 and 16 and above.
The winners will be awarded at the closing ceremony at Yavaran-e Mahdi Complex in Jamkaran, near Qom, on Sunday.
The center holds the competition every year with the aim of promoting Quranic activities in society.
