TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) is staging courses for reading the Quran correctly.

The educational sessions are being held four days a week after Isha prayer at Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine, Al-Kafeel reported.

Alaa Al-Din Hammoud Al-Himyari, head of the recitation section of the center, supervises the sessions.

The training aims to promote Quranic culture, teach people how to correctly read verses and pronounce words, and encourage pilgrims to think deeper about the contents of the Noble Quran.

Trainers also provide information on techniques of recitation as well as the meaning of some words that are used in daily prayers to prevent pronunciation errors.
