Scholars’ Society Lauds IQNA’s Efforts

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The head of Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom has appreciated the efforts of IQNA on the occasion of the news agency’s 19th inauguration anniversary.

In a statement on Monday, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hosseini Bushehri pointed to various challenges that the humankind is facing in today’s world.

“The only hope that can save the humans in this darkness is the light of divine revelation and taking shelter in the strongest book, the Holy Quran,” he said.

IQNA has put effort in reflecting the Quranic teachings in the societies and extension of the agency’s activities in 21 languages shows the determination of its managers to reach people across the world, Hosseini added.

He wished further success for the agency in promoting the Quran in the international arena.

International Quran News Agency celebrated its 19^th anniversary on Ramadan 15 which fell on April 17 this year.  

The number of languages that IQNA covers at the moment has reached 21. The Agency stands top of Iranian news agencies with regards to the number of covering languages.

IQNA believes that covering stories about the Holy Quran can play a significant role in achieving unity in the Islamic world.
