TEHRAN (IQNA) – In every religion there may be narrow-minded and restrictive definitions and descriptions that may even consider many religious people to be out of the boundaries of the faith.

Restrictive Definitions Harm Religion

There are such definitions and descriptions about the Holy Quran as well.

There are all time questions that every thinker and scholar reflects upon and that have been important for thinkers throughout history. Where have I come from? Why am I here? Where will I go after death? There are many such questions and similar ones about the beginning and end of the world, physic and metaphysic, spirituality, ethical principles, meaning of life, etc.

Philosophy seeks to define and explain about these issues. The Holy Quran does too.

But in every religion there may be narrow-minded and restrictive definitions and descriptions by some that may even consider many religious people to be out of the boundaries of the faith.

There are such definitions and descriptions about the Quran as well. Some of these definitions are so limiting that they seem to consider the Holy Book to have been reveled for a certain person or a certain group of people only.

Such definitions and explanations about the Quran and its concepts turn it to a book that not only would have no link with philosophy but no one would be willing to use it to understand his life and elevate it.
