IQNA – A Palestinian man who has recently been released from an Israeli jail described the situation in the regime’s prisons as tragic.

Ramzi al-Abbasi, a Palestinian man who has recently been released from an Israeli jail

Ramzi al-Abbasi was released last week in a prisoner exchange between the Hamas resistance movement and the Zionist regime.

He said the Zionist torturers spare no crime against Palestinian prisoners.

The torturers beat some prisoners so severely that they end up being paralyzed, he said.

The prison officials desecrate Islamic sanctities to torment Palestinian prisoners mentally, he added.

They tear pages of Qurans belonging to Palestinians or throw them on the ground, al-Abbasi noted.

He said the prisoners’ conditions have worsened and the Israeli crimes against them have intensified since the October 7 Al-Aqsa Flood Operation launched by the Hamas resistance movement against the occupation regime.

Al-Abbasi stressed the need for the International Committee of the Red Cross to visit the Israeli regime’s prisons.
