IQNA – Iran has two representatives in this year’s edition of the international Quran competition in Turkey.

Milad Asheqi and Seyed Parsa Angoshtan

Milad Asheqi competes in the category of memorization of the entire Quran while Seyed Parsa Angoshtan represents Iran in the category of Quran recitation.

The Quranic event is organized in two rounds, with the preliminary round having been held virtually two weeks ago.

In this stage, Asheqi answered three questions of the panel of arbiters virtually.

Angoshtan, who is in Mecca as part of the Iranian Hajj Quranic convoy, has sent a video file of his recitation to the competition.

The results of the preliminary stage will be announced soon, with the final round slated to held in Turkey in October.
