IQNA – The director of a Quran printing center in Chicago has noted a significant rise in the public's interest in reading the Muslim holy book since the onset of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation and the Gaza war.

Ahmad Abu Hiba, the director of the Furqaan printing center in Chicago, stated, "Since the beginning of the Gaza war, the number of Quran printing orders to our institution has reached tens of thousands per month," Al Jazeera Arabic reported.

Emphasizing that he is not exaggerating these numbers, he added, "I can prove this with data and figures. For instance, in November 2020, we averaged around 300 to 400 requests per month. However, in November 2023, we received 3,600 Quran printing orders in a single month, and during the past Ramadan, this demand soared to tens of thousands of copies."

Ahmad Abu Hiba also noted that the number of people converting to Islam has significantly increased. “This is largely due to the patience and faith of the people of Gaza and their connection with the Quran. It fascinates Americans to understand what messages the Quran holds that inspire such resilience.”

He noted that Americans are impressed by the patience and resilience of the Palestinian people, a phenomenon they had never encountered before. “Muslims in Palestine cherish the wish for martyrdom; a mother embraces her martyr son, with signs of joy on her face, encouraging everyone not to cry. These are scenes that American citizens have never seen before."

He also noted that copies of the Quran are provided free of charge to non-Muslims who wish to learn more about its teachings.
