Int’l Memorizers Attend Khatm Quran Event Dedicated to Martyr Nasrallah

IQNA – Quran memorizers from several countries attended a Khatm Quran event to honor Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah.

The ceremony was held on Friday at the shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, seeing participation of memorizers from Iran, India, Syria, Pakistan, and Iraq.

The ceremony was held to mark the 40^th day after the assassination of the resistance leader in Lebanon.

Hezbollah Resistance Movement’s Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated in an Israeli regime airstrike on a Beirut suburb on Friday, September 27, 2024.

“The martyrdom of a prominent figure like Sayed Hassan Nasrallah will make him more alive, and the pure blood of this martyr will awaken the Muslim Ummah,” Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mohammad Zolfaqari, an official with the shrine, told the gathering.

“Victory belongs to the Muslim nation,” he stressed, adding, “enemies of Islam and Quran, led by the US and the Zionist regime, will not achieve anywhere through such blind actions.”
