Martyr Soleimani’s Path to Continue Until Liberation of Al-Quds

IQNA – The path of Martyr Qassem Soleimani will continue until the liberation of al-Quds and elimination of the evil of the Zionist regime, Iran’s Parliament speaker said.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made the remark in a speech at the beginning of the open session of the parliament on Sunday, adding that Martyr Soleimani was the symbol and hero of fighting against terrorism and flag-bearer of the resistance front.

He was a person who dedicated over four decades of his blessed life to courageously and selflessly fighting against the invading enemy, criminals, occupiers, and terrorist groups, Ghalibaf stated.

His noble presence provided comfort and reassurance, safeguarding women and children from harm wherever he was, the Parliament speaker added.

Ghalibaf also hailed the Iranian people for their massive participation in commemoration ceremonies marking the fifth anniversary of martyrdom of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani.

General Soleimani, the then commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the then deputy head of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), along with a number of their companions, were assassinated in a US drone attack on Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
