The large-scale event, held at a stadium in Anbar on April 19, was described by local media as one of the most significant Quranic gatherings ever held in the country.

According to Alsumaria News, the gathering featured collective recitation and a Quranic competition focused on Surah Al-Hujurat.

Omar Mashaan Dabbous, head of the Anbar Provincial Council and one of the event’s supervisors, said the Quran should not be seen only as a source of religious celebration but also as a framework for building communities and guiding human development.
