Bain-ul-Haramain is an area between the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala, Iraq.
Mohammad Al-Fatlawi, an official with the Astan said that comprehensive field operations have been launched to ensure comfortable conditions for pilgrims during the hot season.
He said the measures taken include equipping areas within and around the shrine complex and Bain-ul-Haramain with cooling systems as well as upgrading and maintaining the existing cooling infrastructure.
All areas between the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS), including the central square and four main canopies, now have water coolers to lower temperatures, Al-Fatlawi said.
“We have also repaired misting fans along routes connecting the two shrines.”
Maintenance operations have been completed at all staff facilities, he added.
This project has been implemented under the supervision of the Astan, reflecting its serious commitment to providing the best welfare facilities to serve pilgrims, especially during religious occasions, he went on to say.
