The rumors said Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani had been injured following partial damage to his residence.

In a statement issued Sunday, the center warned against the circulation of such “misleading news aimed at influencing public opinion”, al-Furat News reported.

The center said it is continuing its public awareness campaigns in Najaf Governorate during Eid al-Ghadir celebrations, targeting pilgrims visiting the holy city of Najaf.
