Quran A Powerful Weapon against Enemies: IRGC Ground Force Chief
“We should not retreat in the face of (enemy) threats, and of course, the powerful and potent weapon that we have at our disposal in this path is the Quran,” Brigadier General Mohammad Karami said in a speech at the closing ceremony of the 44th IRGC Ground Force Quran competition earlier this week.
“The falsehood front has come to the field with all its might, but we should never be afraid of these threats and should not retreat because we rely on the Quran and this is God’s promise that victory is with the front of the truth,” he said.
The senior commander emphasized that the Quran is the light, the book of life, and “our guiding light in all areas.”
The Quran is the best guide to life, and “we must seek help from this divine book in all aspects of our human life, including the economy, culture, society, and social relations,” he stated.
“If we become familiar with the Quran, it means that the entire world belongs to us, and therefore, fear and terror will not enter our hearts. If the ground forces of the IRGC are Quranic, they will be able to stand in the most difficult situations, because God’s true promise in the Quran is that if you help God in religion, He Himself will be a helper in difficult situations.”
Appreciating the officials organizing the competition and the commendable presence of the participants, he stated, “The method, behavior, and will of the reciters are important; we must also use the opportunity to spread the culture of the Quran so that the IRGC Ground Force becomes a Quranic ground force.”

Recalling that the Quran is a miracle and the Word of God, General Karami added, “We must take steps in the field of propagating, promoting, and elevating the Quran. Spending money on the Quran is a type of investment, and the strongest support is God Almighty, and if we rely on Him, we will be victorious.”
