Head the Army’s Ideo-Political Organization Hojat-ol-Islam Abbas Mohammad Hassani made the remark during a Wednesday visit to the AJA University of Medical Sciences where preparations are underway for the 25th Quran competition for the Army’s women personnel and families.
The Quran is the holy book of Muslims and a roadmap for living a good life, and therefore those who are more Quranic have a good and righteous life that is desired and pleasing to the Almighty, he stated.
Fortunately, he said, the Army, with its 45-year history of Quranic activities, has been able to achieve many successes in the field of familiarizing its personnel and their families with the Word of Revelation.
He noted that Quranic activities in the Army began two years after the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, and since then the Army entered Quranic activities in various fields, achieving many successes.

“We are active in all Quranic fields, including memorization, recitation, understanding of concepts; of course, all of this is a prelude to practicing the Quran. If we are memorizers but do not act upon Quranic teachings, the loss is greater because the memorizer of the Quran is expected to be more agent of the Glorious Word of Allah.”
Referring to the upcoming contest, he said, “There is no such thing as a loser in Quranic competitions. Whoever participates in Quranic programs is a winner, and it must be said that the more steps we take in the field of Quran, the greater its spiritual contributions and achievements, and the more blessings we will receive.”
