People Gift A Car to Top Egyptian Memorizer

IQNA – The people of Tabloha village in Egypt’s Menoufia Governorate presented a car to a bright memorizer who has recently won the first place in the country’s international Quran memorization competition.

The people of Tabloha village in Egypt’s Menoufia Governorate welcomed  Abdul Rahman Mahdi, a bright young Egyptian who has recently won the first place in the country’s international Quran memorization competition.

 

Abdul Rahman Mahdi, a bright young Egyptian who is visually-impaired, was filled with joy upon receiving this gift from the people of his village, al-Watan reported.

By memorizing the Quran, the young man was not looking for encouragement or a gift, but rather for a verse that he could learn and a prayer that he could recite with every prostration.

Abdul Rahman, who was born blind, memorized the Book of God word by word.

After winning first place in the international Quran memorization competition supervised by the Egyptian Awqaf ministry, his name was raised in international circles.

In a ceremony, the people of Tabloha village surprised him with a car as a gift in appreciation for his inspiring work in memorizing the Quran.

This gesture carried with it a clear message that whoever carries the Quran in his heart, their hearts carry him on their shoulders.

The gift was presented to him amidst warm applause and joy and happiness that filled the hearts of all those present at the Jesus Christ (AS) Mosque.

Ibrahim al-Hamoudi, a resident of Tablouha village, stated that the village is proud of what its son has achieved as a global achievement.

He told Al-Watan that the young memorizer received a plaque of appreciation and 10,000 Egyptian pounds from the village Muslim treasury and his teacher, Mohamed al-Atwi.

Al-Hamoudi added that the car was also donated by one of the best youths of Tabloha village and is scheduled to be delivered to Abdul Rahman next week. The price of this car is estimated at half a million pounds.

Abdul Rahman, 20, expressed his happiness at this valuable surprise.

He thanked the people and youth of the village, and said that they have always supported him since childhood and during his memorization of the Holy Quran, so that he could continue on his path and raise the name of his village in international circles.
