IQNA – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) attacked a military base in Bahrain that is home to the United States’ fifth naval fleet as well as other US bases in regional countries.

Iran launched missile attacks in response to US and Israeli aggression on February 28, 2026.

Confronting the aggression launched by the criminal US military and the child-killing Zionist regime began with the extensive attacks of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces on the enemy targets in the region, the IRGC announced in a statement.

It added that as part of the Operation True Promise 4, launched in response to the US and Israeli attacks on Iran earlier today, the IRGC missiles and drones hit the US bases in Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates as well as military and security centers at the heart of the Israeli-occupied territories.

The Iranian Armed Forces’ missile and drone strikes continue, the statement went on to say.

The Zionist regime and the United States have carried out airstrikes targeting several cities in Iran, including the capital Tehran, as well as Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, Tabriz, and Kermanshah.
