Tehran Int’l Quran Expo Closes after US-Israeli Aggression

IQNA – The Quran and Etrat Center of the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance announced the closure of the 33rd Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition on Saturday.

The decision to close the expo today came after the US and the Israeli regime launched a war of aggression against Iran.

The exhibition was launched at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) last week.

In a statement, the center condemned the brutal aggression by the Zionist regime and the US on the country.

It said that following the attacks, the exhibition will not be running on Saturday.

The conditions related to holding the expo will be announced later, the center added.

The Zionist regime and the United States carried out airstrikes targeting several cities in Iran, including the capital Tehran, as well as Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, Tabriz, and Kermanshah, on Saturday.

In response, the Iranian Armed forces have launched massive missile and drone strikes against Israeli-occupied territories and the US bases in regional countries.
