IQNA – A gathering of members of Iran’s Quranic community will be held in Tehran on Saturday.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei

During the gathering, slated for this evening in Abuzar Square, in front of the Abuzar Mosque, the Quranic community will renew allegiance with the path of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

A number of internationally acclaimed qaris will recite verses from the Holy Quran at the event.

The Abuzar Mosque is one of the mosques in Tehran that were desecrated and set on fire by elements affiliated with the US and the Zionist regime during the recent riots in the country.

It is also the place where an assassination attempt against Ayatollah Khamenei has taken place in 1981.

Many major Quranic events and Quran teaching sessions have been held in the mosque over the past five decades and many renowned Quran teachers, memorizers and reciters have been trained in those sessions.
