IQNA – A spokesman for the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas described the US-Israeli strikes on schools in Iran as a repetition of the Zionist regime’s approach in Gaza.

Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem

Hazem Qassem said deliberately targeting schools in recent strikes on Iran is the continuation of the Israeli regime’s behavior during the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

In Gaza, hundreds of schools were bombed, leading to the martyrdom of thousands of people, he noted.

The Hamas spokesman also condemned the shameful silence of the international community on the atrocities being committed against Iran, saying it is the same silence witnessed during the Gaza genocide.

It is a clear sign that the international community is incapable of preventing the recurrence of attacks on civilians in the region, he stated.

Since the US and the Israeli regime launched the aggression on Iran on February 28, many residential and civilian areas, including schools have been targeted by the aggressors.
