
Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced the indictment of a suspect who fired a paintball and a pellet gun at people outside the Islamic Center of North Phoenix during Ramadan prayers.
The incident took place on March 7, and Michael Abel Dominguez was arrested a couple of days later.
No one was injured, but rounds did strike cars at the mosque. Victims followed Dominguez's car to obtain his license plate; at that time, Dominguez fired more rounds at them.
Dominguez was indicted on the following charges:
Six counts of aggravated assault, a class three felony
One count of possession or use of narcotic drugs, a class four felony
One count of possession or use of dangerous drugs, a class four felony
One count of aggravated criminal damage, a class six felony
