Iran’s Quranic Community Condemns Trump’s Insult to Jesus
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Quranic community, consisting of Quran experts, reciters, memorizers and managers of the country’s Quranic affairs, emphasized the high position of Jesus (AS) in Islamic teachings.
The statement is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
“Jesus, son of Mary, is only a Messenger of God, His Word, and a spirit from Him whom He conveyed to Mary.” (Verse 171 of Surah An-Nisa
Apart from the common beliefs of the followers of the Abrahamic religions, which are considered their common feature and are respected by the world, the noble religion of Islam gives special status and respect to the divine prophets, including the herald of peace and freedom, the great prophet of God, Jesus the son of Mary, peace be upon him, whose story is mentioned in 15 Surahs (chapters) of the Holy Quran and in 93 of its verses. The high-ranking prophet whose creation was based on the special will of God, and his birth is considered a great divine event and a miracle. “And We shall make him a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us. It is a matter decreed.” (Verse 21 of Surah Maryam)
The noble prophet who is the owner of many exceptional and undeniable miracles. (I will create for you from clay the dirt of a bird, so I will blow into it, and it will become a bird by God's permission. The leprosy and the resurrection of the dead by the will of God. “I have brought you a miracle from your Lord. I can create for you something from clay in the form of a bird. When I blow into it, it will become a real bird, by the permission of God. I can heal the blind and the lepers and bring the dead back to life, by the permission of God. I can tell you about what you eat and what you store in your homes.” (Verse 49 of Surah Al Imran)
A prophet who is not only loved by all Christians in the world but also respected and loved by followers of other divine religions. “We find no difference among the Messengers of God.” (Verse 285 of Surah Al-Baqarah)
A unique personality whose existence has been blessed by God in all times and places, based on the verses of the Holy Quran. “He made me to be blessed wherever I am.” (Verse 31 of Surah Maryam)
And on the day of his birth, the day he meets God and the day of his resurrection, he has been greeted with divine peace and blessings. “And peace on me on the day I was born, and on the day I die, and on the day I am raised to life.” (Verse 33 of Surah Maryam)
A great man whose power is eternal and humanity will benefit from his blessed existence in the end times.
He is the "Word of God"!
And one of the unfortunate wonders of the world is that a delusional and narcissistic person with blasphemous thoughts, in addition to (making offensive comments about) Pope Leo, the leader of the world’s Catholics, has taken the path of insulting Christian sanctities by publishing his own indecent image in the image of Jesus Christ! And although he eventually deleted his alleged post, he aroused the anger of the world’s religious and political institutions, international analysts and all the free people of the world.
Of course, this was not unexpected from someone who is officially and publicly referred to by various personalities and classes of the world under titles such as psychotic, unbalanced, delusional, ignorant, stupid, crazy and dangerous!

It is clear that for someone who is the main perpetrator of the cowardly assassination of our martyred Leader and Imam, brave commanders, defenseless people, and innocent angels (students) of the Shajareh Tayyebeh (School), and who brazenly and repeatedly mentions the assassination of the great martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani as one of his honors, disrespect for what people hold sacred is not a big deal!
The Quranic community of Islamic Iran, while expressing disgust at the despicable act of the US president in violating the sanctity of the great Prophet of God and also his disrespect for His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the leader of the world's Catholics, strongly condemns Donald Trump's foolish act and, in parallel with apologizing to the prophet of peace and friendship, Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him), has a confident hope that through the right-seeking of the free nations of the world and the eradication of the arrogant and their puppet elements, the world will witness the rule of justice, peace, security, and peaceful coexistence of all followers of divine religions. God willing.
