Imam Reza Arbaeen Quranic Convoy Begins Holding Quranic Programs in Najaf

IQNA – With the arrival of Arbaeen pilgrims, the Quranic programs of the Imam Reza (AS) Arbaeen Quranic convoy have begun in the holy city of Najaf.

The first team of the convoy has been stationed in Najaf in cooperation with Iran’s Supreme Quran Council and the Committee for Inviting and Dispatching Quran Reciters.

In these programs, distinguished and internationally-acclaimed qaris, recite the divine verses, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the Arbaeen procession.

According to the plan, after the end of the programs in Najaf, the activities of this convoy will continue in the holy city of Karbala.

The purpose of the convoy is to spread the culture of the Quran and the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), deepen the spiritual atmosphere of the Arbaeen march, and allow more pilgrims to benefit from the luminous teachings of the Quran.

The convoy’s members include Seyed Mohammad Hosseinipour, Amir Hossein Rahmati, Seyed Hamid Reza Moqaddasi, Seyed Mostafa Hosseini, Vahid Karami, Jamshid Surgi, Mohammad Ali Karimi, Nasser Qarakhani, and Mohsen Emami.

It also includes the Silsilat al-Dhahab Tawasheeh Group from the Khorasan Razavi province.
