The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, called on Member States to immediately bring solidarity aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza being subjected to a brutal campaign of killing and destruction launched in defiance of international law by Israel, which takes advantage of the troublesome situation in the region to fulfill its criminal plots.
On that occasion, ISESCO Director General urged Member States to provide financial support, medical and food relief and means of defense to the Palestinian people to help them stand against such a Zionist arrogance and barbaric aggression.
He also called on Member States to use all means available to them to put pressure on the international community to deter Israel, put an end to its repeated aggression, and assist Palestinians in establishing their unified independent State with Al-Quds as its capital.
In the same vein, the Director General warned that any reluctance in this regard would only undermine security and stability in the region and the world over.
