Quranic Community Highlights Ayatollah Raisi’s Efforts to Promote Quranic Culture

IQNA – In a message on the martyrdom of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi, the country’s Quranic community described Ayatollah Raisi as someone whose efforts to promote the culture of the Quran and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) is known to all.

The message was issued on Monday, May 20, a day after the president, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Friday prayer leader of Tabriz and the governor of East Azarbaijan as well as several others were martyred in a crash northwest of Iran.

The Quranic community offered condolences over their martyrdom and invited the Iranian people to take part in their funerals as a sign of appreciation for their services and self-sacrifices.

The message also stressed the Quranic aspect of Ayatollah Raisi’s life and his efforts to develop the Quranic culture.

It added that the president’s defense of the status of Book of God during his address to the UN General Assembly after cases of Quran desecration in the West will never be forgotten.

He was among those who, according to a Hadith from the Holy Prophet (PBUH), carry the Holy Quran, the message stated.

It also underline the president’s striving to the serve the people and gain their contentment, which means gaining the contentment of God.

Acting upon the will of Martyr Raisi, the Quranic community will double their efforts to promote and develop the lofty teachings of the Quran and Etrat, using all the available capacities and opportunities in the grassroots and government sectors, it went on to say.
