The 25th edition of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Quran Competition, organized by the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA), concluded with 109 participants of various nationalities and age groups showcasing their memorization and recitation skills.
Head of the Judging Committee, Ibrahim Jassim Al Mansoori, praised the exceptional dedication of this year’s participants, noting their remarkable memorization and recitation. “The finalists demonstrated an impressive commitment to the Holy Quran. Our judging team applied precise and fair criteria to ensure an impartial evaluation. What we witnessed reflects the deep connection participants have with the Quran,” he said, according to Emirati media outlets.

The competition took place in two separate venues: the DIHQA building in Al Mamzar for male participants and the Women’s Renaissance Society Hall in Al Hamriya for female participants.
Daily sessions began at 4:00 PM, with specialized judging panels comprising esteemed scholars and sheikhs overseeing the evaluations.
The names of the winners will be announced and honored at the upcoming closing ceremony.
