The mausoleum’s Hazrat Zahra (SA) Shabestan (roofed space) hosted the program on Tuesday evening after the Maghrib and Isha prayers.
The international affairs department of the holy shrine’s Astan (custodianship) organized the program in the Urdu language.
It included a Quran recitation by Mohammad Basharat Emami and a speech in Urdu by Syed Abolqassem Rizvi.
Syed Muhammad Rizvi from Pakistan also performed a Mawlud Khani (eulogy recitation).
Shia Muslims in Iran and elsewhere in the world celebrate the first day of Dhu al-Qa'dah (falling on April 29 this year) as the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA), the daughter of the 7th Shia Imam.
