IQNA – Israeli onslaught across the Gaza Strip have continued with intensity, killing more than 140 people, including children, in the past 24 hours.

Since Thursday morning, at least 143 Palestinians have been killed in a series of attacks launched by Israeli forces from air, land, and sea, according to medical sources in the territory.

By early Friday, health officials in Gaza reported that at least 21 individuals had been killed in just five hours since midnight local time. The airstrikes have targeted densely populated areas, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian conditions.

One of the latest bombings struck the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, killing at least six civilians and injuring many more.

An earlier attack on the same camp had resulted in the deaths of 15 people, including 11 children and one woman.

In the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, two separate Israeli strikes claimed the lives of five civilians and left several others wounded. Meanwhile, a residential building north of Gaza City was bombed, killing two Palestinians and injuring several more, among them children.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza, reported on Thursday that 2,876 Palestinians have been killed since the Israeli regime resumed its bombardment campaign on March 18.

This figure adds to the already staggering death toll since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza to 53,010.

Alongside the military campaign in Gaza, Israeli assaults in the occupied West Bank also continue. On Thursday, Israeli forces conducted raids across several areas, blocking roads and killing four Palestinians.
