The Misbah platform will be launched through the efforts of the Talem Charity Center for Quranic Education and Quranic Sciences, according to Al-Watan.com website.
It is aimed at teaching the Quran and Quranic sciences to non-Arabic speakers, and expanding the circle and number of memorizers of the Holy Quran and various Islamic sciences, reaching the largest non-Arabic-speaking population within Saudi Arabia.
The platform’s educational program will last four years, with the first and second years covering Arabic language and Quranic studies, and the third and fourth years covering Islamic sciences.
It will also teach reciting the entire Quran and memorizing the four parts of the Quran (one part per academic year).
The platform offers blended and virtual education, and its programs are currently being run in person under the title Misbah for non-Arabic speakers at the Taallum Association branch in Riyadh.
Abdul Rahman al-Abdulaziz, director of the association’s educational affairs, said 300 Muslims of various Asian, European, and African nationalities who do not speak Arabic are currently receiving face-to-face training in this program at this forum.
