
The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has distributed and donated 50,000 copies of the Quran for free to the visitors, Al-Yawm website reported.
The ministry has displayed a collection of publications from the King Fahd Quran Printing Complex at its booth at the book fair.
It has also donated 50,000 copies of the Quran in different sizes to visitors to the fair.
The booth also includes a display and introduction of the Islamic electronic library and the Saudi efforts in the field of digital programs, the Shahadatayn application and virtual Hajj in different languages.
Visitors to the fair can get acquainted with different parts of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina through virtual reality (VR) technology.
The 57th Cairo International Book Fair started on January 23, 2026, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center and will continue until February 3, 2026.
