Written by Mohammed Al-Sayyid Ghonim, the book documents the history of recitation in Egypt and discusses the biographies of 50 of the most famous Quran reciters of the country, Fito website reported.

These are qaris who have been influential among the listeners of their recitations in Egypt and the Islamic world.

The author of this book, through documentation and analysis, has addressed the human dimension of the reciters’ lives and explained the different schools of Egyptian recitation and their impact on the development of Sawt and Lahn in Quran recitation.

He says the book is not just a documentary book but a loyal approach that expresses interest in reciters who loved the Quran and presented a sincere recitation.

This book introduces the biographies of the qaris, pointing to their most important artistic features and the characteristics that distinguished their school and recitation style.

The Dar Risha Publishing and Distribution Center published this book, which is available to visitors to the Cairo International Book Fair.
