Iranian President to Attend Official Reception for Martyred Leader‌ in Iraq

IQNA – Iran's Ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al Sadeq said President Masoud Pezeshkian, accompanied by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and a number of senior Iranian officials, will attend the official reception ceremony for the pure body of Iran's martyred leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, in Iraq on Tuesday night.

Al Sadeq said the official reception ceremony will be held in the holy city of Najaf on Tuesday evening.

He added that a public funeral procession will take place on Wednesday beginning at 6:00 a.m., with ceremonies scheduled in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala.
