70-Year-Old Woman Memorizes Entire Quran

An elderly woman in Saudi Arabia has managed to learn the entire Holy Quran by heart.

Despite her old age, the woman achieved this feat through determination and strong resolve to memorize the Holy Book.
It took her some 15 years to learn the Quran by heart, al-Weam news website reported.
She never thought about giving up and finally managed to achieve her great objective.
The women’s section of the Quran memorization society in the province of Afif has recently held a ceremony to honor the 70-year-old woman for her accomplishment.
The Holy Quran is the only religious Scripture that is memorized by its followers.
Innumerable persons in every Muslim community have memorized the whole Quran since the first day it was revealed.
