This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mehdi Khamoushi, head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, addressing the closing ceremony of part of the 45th edition of Iran’s national Quran competition.

The ceremony, where the winners of three categories were announced and awarded, was held in the northern city of Qazvin on Wednesday.

He said that serving the promotion of the Quranic culture has been one of the main accomplishments of the Islamic Revolution.

Thanks to the Islamic Revolution, the flag of Islam has been raised, Hojat-ol-Islam Khamoushi went on to say.

The cleric added that the outcomes of Quran competitions can be the response to all the hostilities against the Islamic Revolution.

Hojat-ol-Islam Khamoushi also said that the Islamic Revolution continues on its path towards achieving its objectives despite attempts by the enemies to divert the path of the revolution.

He further thanked the officials and people of Qazvin for playing host to the final stage of the 45th national Quran competition in the categories of prayer recitation, Adhan (call to prayer) and choral recitation of Quran.

The final round in the other categories of the competition, namely Quran recitation and memorization, is slated to be held in the southwestern province of Khuzestan in the month of Dey (December 2022-January 2023).

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s National Quran Competition is annually held by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization with the participation of top Quran activists from across the country.

It is aimed at discovering Quranic talents and promoting Quranic activities in society.
