Speaking to IQNA, Rahim Qorbani, the head of the Quran and Etrat department of the IRGC’s 27th Mohammad Rasulollah Division, said Nasrallah was a demonstration of Quranic verses as he practically manifested many of the teachings of the verses in his life.
His life was the manifestation of Quranic verses about self-sacrifice, resistance, martyrdom, defending the oppressed, etc, and that is why he achieved the great blessing of martyrdom, he stated.
The martyred leader of Hezbollah was intimately acquainted with the Holy Book and had a strong attachment to it, he added.
Qorbani said the Quranic community, including Quran experts, qaris, memorizers, managers and other activists consider it their duty to always remember this noble martyr and his companions, especially the IRGC general Abbas Nilforoushan who was martyred along with Nasrallah in Beirut.
“We will strive to promote the path of these martyrs and explicate their path based on the verses of the Quran.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Qorbani said the resistance front should rest assured that thousands of the likes of Nasrallah and General Nilforoushan are being raised who will not allow the flag of resistance to fall on the ground for a second.

He went on to say that all members of the Quranic community should walk on the path of explicating the objectives of the resistance front.
The commemoration ceremony organized by the Iranian Quranic community for Nasrallah and other martyrs of resistance last week was in line with this responsibility, he added.
Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in a massive airstrike that Israel launched on southern Beirut on September 27 using American-supplied bunker-buster bombs.
General Niloforoushan, who served as a military adviser in Lebanon, was martyred in the same attack.
Israel’s attacks come against the backdrop of escalated tensions between the Lebanese resistance movement and the occupying entity, which included the targeted killing of top Hezbollah commanders and the detonation of telecommunication devices belonging to the Muslim resistance group.
Israel has been targeting Lebanon since October 7 last year, when it launched a genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip.
Hezbollah has been responding to the aggression with numerous retaliatory operations, including one with a hypersonic ballistic missile, targeting the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Lebanese resistance movement has vowed to keep up its operations against Israel as long as the Israeli regime continues its Gaza war.
