‘Martyr of Quran’ Remembered in Yemen

IQNA – Ceremonies were held in different parts of Yemen this week to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid Badreddin al-Houthi, known as the “martyr of Quran”.

The participants in the events reiterated their resolve to continue to the path of the martyr and remain committed to the teachings of the Holy Quran.

There were various programs held on Thursday to mark the anniversary of al-Houthi’s martyrdom, including religious, cultural and media events.

They were addressed by scholars, preachers, political and local officials and representatives of government bodies.

The speakers emphasized that the path of Martyr al-Houthi will continue and the Quranic project that he launched will not stop.

They praised the martyr’s sacrifices and his efforts to promote the Quran.

They also stressed raining awareness about regional and international developments, including the situation in Palestine.

Similar programs will be held in Yemen in the following days with the aim of strengthening the Quranic identity of the people of Yemen and enhancing the values of dignity, independence and loyalty to the path of the martyr.
