The ten-day Karamat event marks the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA), which was marked on April 19 this year, and Imam Reza (AS), which will fall on April 29.

It is a time of pilgrimage, celebrations, and cultural events, particularly in holy cities like Mashhad and Qom.

Hossein Rezaei, spokesman for the Imam Reza (AS) Pilgrims’ Servants Community, told IQNA that planning has been made to serve the pilgrims.

He said that based on initial statistics, around 4,500 pilgrims have announced their readiness to leave for Mashhad on foot in various convoys.

They will travel to Mashhad from cities including Tehran, Qom, Kashan, Yazd, Tafresh and Karaj, he noted.

It is expected that they will enter Mashhad via the Neyshabur road two days before the end of the Karamat celebrations, he stated.
