
He made the remark in a meeting with Chief of the Army Staff of the Pakistan Army Field Marshal Asim Munir, held in Tehran on Saturday, during which the two sides discussed the latest status of the negotiations to end the US-Israeli imposed war on Iran.
Ghalibaf referred to the efforts of the Pakistani government in mediating talks between Iran and the US government and said, “Just as the Islamic Republic of Iran defended the Iranian nation with courage and authority on the battlefield, it will also strive with intelligence and power in the field of diplomacy to realize Iran’s legitimate rights and secure the country’s national interests.”
He expressed his appreciation for the support and actions of the Pakistani nation and government in various periods, including during the recent imposed war and the negotiations that followed, and described these interactions as an example of good cooperation between Islamic nations and governments that can be a model for other Islamic countries.
Addressing the Pakistani army commander, the speaker of the parliament said, “The military knows the value of peace more than anyone else and better than anyone else, but the same military will never allow the honor and rights of their country to be trampled on.”
Pointing to the numerous crimes of the United States and the damages of the war, Ghalibaf considered its moral damages irreparable and stated, “We were negotiating when the United States started the war and now it says let’s negotiate to end it. We were in a ceasefire and you were its mediator and the United States, breaking its promise, imposed a naval blockade and now it is seeking to lift it.”

He went on to say, “Our armed forces have rebuilt themselves during the ceasefire in such a way that if (US President Donald) Trump makes a foolish mistake and starts the war again, it will definitely be more devastating and bitter for the United States than the first day of the war.”
In this meeting, the Pakistani general conveyed the greetings of the prime minister and the speakers of the National Assembly and Senate of Pakistan to Ghalibaf and said his country’s government and people have the best wishes and prayers for the future of the Iranians.
