The demonstrators emphasized the continuation of the policy of “siege against siege and escalation against escalation” and supporting Palestine, Gaza and the axis of resistance.
Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, witnessed a large-scale rally in Al-Sabain Square yesterday. There were also demonstrations in other squares in various provinces of the country, Al-Masirah reported.
In the final statement of these rallies, the participants once again declared their support for Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansarullah movement, and delegated to him full authority to make the necessary decisions to confront the aggression and siege imposed on Yemen by Saudi Arabia and other enemies.
The statement welcomed the Yemeni armed forces’ action in imposing a maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia and announced that this action would continue until the blockade against Yemen is lifted. It also supported targeting ships that violate the announced bans.
The statement praised the Yemeni armed forces’ responses to Saudi Arabia’s escalation, attacks on Hudaydah, and violations of Yemeni sovereignty through drone flights.
The participants in the rallies condemned the criminal US and Saudi attacks on Iraq, its security institutions, and resistance forces, and called on Islamic nations to take action to confront Zionist plans against Islamic sanctities and the resources of regional countries.
Also, coinciding with the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the former head of the Hamas political bureau, the participants once again emphasized their support for the Palestinian cause, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the people of Gaza, and other groups aligned with the resistance.
