Winners of Kufa Mosque Quran Contest Announced
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Winners of a Quran competition organized at the Great Mosque of Kufa, Iraq, were announced.
It was the 10th edition of the Quranic event, which was held in the categories of Quran memorization and Tarteel recitation, according to the website of the mosque.
Quran memorizers and reciters from across the country took part in the competition.
Qaisar Sabah, Karrari Najih and Ahmed Razaq Lutfi were the winners of the first to third titles in recitation.
In memorization, Murtaza Ali Naji came first. Hassan Abdul Reza was the runner-up and Imad Ayad came third.
They were honored and awarded at the closing ceremony held at the mosque.
The panel of judges and those helping in the organization of the Quranic event were also honored at the event.
