In this stage, the contenders’ performances were recorded and then the panel of judges started evaluating and scoring them.
Seventy-three judges from different provinces officiated the event in this stage, which includes a total of 390 performances in men’s and women’s sections.
The evaluations in different categories concluded on November 13 and the top participants who will make it to the finals will be announced on November 17.
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s national Quran competition is annually held by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization with the participation of top Quran activists from across the country.
It is aimed at discovering Quranic talents and promoting Quranic activities in the society.
The categories of the contest include memorization, recitation and interpretation of the Holy Quran.
