IQNA – The Trump administration is complicit in the Israeli regime’s genocide in Gaza and its crime of starving people to death in the Palestinian enclave, a US advocacy group said.

US President Donald Trump and Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) on Saturday condemned the US administration for its role in the Gaza genocide, as the Israeli regime starved to death five more people, including two children, and killed at least 42 aid seekers as part of its campaign of mass destruction, slaughter, forced starvation, and ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

CAIR’s condemnation comes as Jeremy Konyndyk, president of Refugees International and a former US aid official, says indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu “is using starvation as a weapon of war.”

He cited a New York Times report in which Israeli military officials say they have no proof UN aid was ever diverted, undercutting a claim Israel has used to justify forcibly starving Palestinians in Gaza.

In a statement, CAIR said: “It is beyond the understanding of any moral individual how Trump administration officials can see the images of starving children and slaughtered aid seekers in Gaza without demanding an end to this man-made horror. Our nation will forever be stained by its complicity with the Israeli apartheid government’s genocide. The genocide must end and all those who carried it out or were complicit must be held accountable.”

On Friday, CAIR welcomed the French government’s planned recognition of a Palestinian state and urged other nations across the world to take similar action as one way to respond to Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

CAIR also says that Israeli soldiers should continue to face arrest when they travel to nations that apply international law to those committing acts of genocide. Most recently, the Brussels-based Hind Rajab foundation called for the arrest of an Israeli soldier on vacation in Cyprus.
