Algeria Gifts 25,000 Copies of Quran to Grand Mosque of Paris
Malika Bendouda said in a statement published on her official page on Friday that Algeria has gifted 25,000 copies of the Holy Quran to the Grand Mosque of Paris, akhbardzair website reported.
This measure was carried out with the aim of meeting the needs of Algerian and Muslim minorities living in France, and similar programs have been planned for Algerian communities in other Western countries, she said.
The culture minister thanked Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for his emphasis on the annual printing of the Holy Quran.
Bendouda also expressed her satisfaction with the selection of the National Institute of Printing Arts (ENAG) to carry out this responsibility.

She further appreciated the efforts of the staff of the National Institute of Printing Arts who have been working for years to develop the printing process of the Holy Quran, especially in the Warsh narration, in addition to printing Algerian newspapers, and praised their commitment to producing the Holy Quran with a distinguished appearance and competitive quality.
She added, “First of all, we must be proud of the staff and experts of the National Institute of Printing Arts; those who have worked for years to improve the quality of printing the Holy Quran in the Warsh narration and in the Mus’haf of Algeria style.”
The Algerian culture minister also emphasized the center's commitment to meeting requests for exquisite and high-quality printing, especially in the field of Quran printing.
