Supreme Leader Lauds Creation of Outstanding, Eloquent Literary Works about Islamic Revolution
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei lauded the creation of exceptional, fluent literary works featuring the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense.
Speaking Monday in a meeting with the narrator and a number of individuals who contributed to the publication of the book “Lashkar-e Khouban” (the army of the righteous), His Eminence also prayed God to bestow blessings to those who made efforts to publish the book.
The Supreme Leader noted that since the beginning of the Holy Defense and the creation of that great epic inspired by Imam Khomeini (RA), there have been Satanic hands at work to prevent the magnificent beauties of that epic from being known.
Imam Khamenei regarded authoring and publishing such books that present the true picture of heroisms in the Holy Defense era as an example of Jihad on the path of God.
His Eminence said the enemies of the Islamic Revolution and the path of God are trying to prevent this bright path to be seen and that endeavors such as publishing these books foil the enemies’ attempts.
Imam Khamenei also urged that books like Lashkar-e Khouban, which help to provide a clear image of the Holy Defense and the Islamic Republic, be translated into other languages by those who are the native speakers of the target language and have literary skills as well.
The book Lashkar-e Khouban narrates stories about heroic deeds by members of the intelligence-operations unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ 31 Ashoura Division during the Holy Defense era.
